Zambia Presidential Election won with PBXware

Elections can be tense at the best of times. Sometimes staying up all night not quite knowing which side will win.

With the recent Presidential Election in Zambia for all the furore in the public gaze, we at Bicom Systems had worked our late nights prior to the big day and were quietly confident that a victory would be ours.

With an ever looming deadline the officeBOX M2000 and Sangoma A101 with A200s in support had to be configured to the Zamtel circuits. In support, 25 Yealink phones and headsets were configured to get a call center up and ready and working.

In the end PBXware Call Center PBX did everything you would expect it to at the Electoral Commission Zambia was able to fulfill its mission.

To be clear for the record, the greatest work and effort came from Necor in Lusaka and particularly Kelvin for replying to the RFP, assembling all the part and liasing between Bicom Systems support and 'Sanchy' at Zamtel.

Best of all ... the election passed of free, fairly and peacefully by 'all parties' accounts and great respect is owed to the out-going President Rupiah Banda for the manner in which he accepted his defeat to Michael Sata. For more read here.
